To get the knife block loose, just lift up from the bottom and it will release. Remove, refill, and replace without tools! Steel washers and screws are included for adapting to non-metallic surfaces.
The Magnetic Bamboo Knife Block is a great place to store all your favorite or most used knives. This block has 6 slots: two are for blades as wide as 2 1/4 inches and 4 slots will hold blades up to 2 inches wide. Most knives are not that big and you will find it easy to place two in each slot allowing the block to hold up to as many as 12 knives. The knives can be as long as 10 1/2 inches.
This block protects the blades from accidents and can be attached to your refrigerator at any angle. The block is also a convenient kitchen accessory because it will hold ceramic knives which do not stick to magnetic strips.
